Red Bull Illume iPad App

This beverage company with the horse bull had this photo contest where I made it into the semi finals. They now released an iPad App Photo Book, you'll find my shot in the sequence category where it belongs - it's more frames morphed together in one shot than a roll of film could hold. Yay digital! Get the free app from the iTunes Store.

Munich Snow

The first half of January had it all - 4am wake up calls to shooting until 4am, backcountry hiking to urban jibs. As for the urban stuff I tagged along with Marco Smolla and Fips Strauss to shoot trademark buildings and other fun stuff in downtown Munich for Red Bull. Hang Glider

Letzte Woche hatte ich die Gelegenheit Drachenfliegen zu fotografieren. Die Inspiration zur Action waren auf Wasser landende Enten, die bis sie sich absetzen, schliddernd einen Strich über die Wasseroberfläche ziehen. War genauso spannend und lustig zu fotografieren wie es sich anhört. Hier ein paar Bilder:








Last week I had the chance to shoot Hang Gliding. The inspiration for the action came from ducks which slide on the water surface when landing. Had a great time shooting, thanks to everyone involved!

Snowstyle Cover!

Yeah, my shot of Josh Dirksen made it as a cover of Japan's snowboard magazine Snowstyle! If you can get your hands on the mag, go get it! I can't read what the text on the cover promises, but I know that there's a huge GAP Session story in it. Plus a couple of extra pages from a trip to France to try out another step over kicker, see below.
