Markku Koski

// Deutsche Version weiter unten... //

Recently I had the pleasure of shooting with Markku Koski in Helsinki, Finland. We shot two different settings. One was a studio set-up the other series was shot later the day when we were cruising around in Helsinki, available light, one lens only. A nice change when considering this a part of 'snowboard photography' - shooting portraits in summer, light gear and flip flops. More on that when the photos got published and I can put them here on the blog.

what to do in Helsinki with only one hour time

As I wrote below, I visited Helsinki for the weekend. Since I spent a lot of time at the trade show I didn't have much time to cruise town this time. But it would be a wasted trip if I didn't go downtown for at least a little bit. There's much do to and see in walking distance.
There's the famous market hall located at the harbor. The building in the background on the right is the president's "palace" right behind it there's the famous white cathedral. But first I walked through the hall and grabbed some delicious snacks... mmh yummy

the market hall, lot's of snacks are waiting inside

Board Expo

This weekend I visited the annual "Slammer Gaala" and Board Expo trade show in Helsinki Finland. Here are some snapshots:
