MOTO

Earlier this year I got the chance to go on an adventure with my long time friend and motoX legend Ronnie Renner. When we met at the Glen Helen Raceway just outside of L.A. he showed up in his unbelievable Hot Wheels ambulance loaded with bikes and a Polaris on the trailer. What a setup! From then on it was road trip time and sleeping under the stars in the desert. I’ve never been to a place like Ocotillo Wells or Glamis Sand Dunes. Where by the way the Jabba the Hutt segment for Star Wars was filmed. Fun fact aside, nothing beats the feeling of exploring new places sitting in the passengers seat of a Polaris and having the multiple X-Games winner next to you hauling ass. Every rollercoaster ride from now on will be like a good night’s sleep.

dusting off harddrives

I'm working on my new, hopefully improved, digital work flow for the upcoming snowboard season. Getting my hard drives for backups and archives ready... Just found these Freestyle motoX photos from the summer of 2004. Man, it's a while ago since I last shot FMX. Got some ideas, maybe I'll get a chance in 09. So here are some dusty slide scans from a few years ago:
